A Pantheon of 24 Gods once ruled over Zodia for hundreds of millennia, reincarnating and reuniting with each other. Except for one. . .

War broke out amongst themselves and their species. The Great Chaos shattered the world and separated the species from one another in many ways. With nearly all the God's dead, their reincarnations would not be safe from The Reaper; the catalyst for the chaos. He was sealed away in The Somnium Realm, by a gravely wounded Witch. The God's that survived scattered across Zodia awaiting for the reincarnations of their broken Patheon to return.

The Somnium Realm is frozen in time and overlays Zodia. It was unaffected by The Great Chaos, but without the other God's it has been left barren. The Witch eventually succumbs to her wounds, but not before she places one final curse on The Reaper. With her death The Reaper would be free, but he could not leave The Somnium Realm until the other 22 God's are all reincarnated and return to The Somnium Realm together.

The Reaper is left alone and nearly powerless, surrounded by the shadows and ruins of his chaos, though he is a patient creature. Life slowly begins to return and the barrier between The Somnium Realm and Zodia becomes weaker, his powers slowly returning. It is only a matter of time...
